About Me

My name is Lianna Rose and I'm a Humanist Wedding Celebrant. I'm known for being a warm, funny, and compassionate person who is always enthusiastic.

I'm mixed race with Caribbean, Scottish, and English heritage. I grew up near Stratford-upon-Avon before moving to Hackney in London.

I'm cisgender and I use she/her pronouns. I support all LGBTQ+ identities and rights.

I'm always trying to learn and be more inclusive, and I make sure my ceremonies are accessibility friendly for everyone.

If my couples need any special accommodations, just let me know and I'll make it happen.

I care about mental health and know first-hand how stressful planning a wedding can be. If you ever just want to chat, I'm here to listen.

My own love story

2023 has been an incredible year for me; in June, I had the privilege of marrying the love of my life after seven years together. We indulged ourselves with not one, but TWO weddings. The first was a legal registration at the registry office, followed by a laid-back family wedding at a pub in England. The second, a grand celebration in Portugal, lead by our celebrant friend .

We opted for a second wedding in Portugal because that's where our story began, at a music festival in Lisbon. It holds a special place in our hearts; we return almost every year. We wanted to gather our family and friends in the place where our love story began.

Both weddings were equally memorable, as we were surrounded by those we love the most.

Performing Arts

I trained in musical theatre at a stage school in London, and graduated with a professional qualification in performing arts. That training really comes in handy for being a wedding celebrant, as  I've learnt how to effectively communicate with an audience and deliver ceremonies with confidence and clarity.

But it's not just about the speaking part, I'm here to listen. I am creative and adaptable, which helps me create personalised ceremonies that cater to your needs and preferences.

I am highly professional in the way that I conduct myself, whilst being warm and friendly at the same time.

More about me

I grew up as an emo/indie girl, who has transformed into a fully fledged pop princess.

My house is a continuous music video marathon, as I love learning the dance routines, and I spend most of my  money on going to see as many concerts as possible.

In 2022, my highlights were Harry Styles, Red Velvet, Blackpink and BTS.

This year was all about Beyoncé, Twice and Aespa, and I'm looking forward to ABBA Voyage.

For our first wedding dance, it started with the timeless charm of the Beatles' "Something" and then we switched it up with Beyoncé's "Cuff it" - the perfect mix!

Outside of music, I enjoy West End shows and movies.

Being a vegan in London is great because there are always new restaurants to try.

I also like walking in the countryside on weekends and do yoga and pilates during the week.
